Market Validation

Once we’re able to get the prototype, we can conduct physical  research through tester trials. This will give us feedback on things like what features are important and if our target market’s survey responses match to the actual market demand for the product.

These are questions that will provide our team with helpful information that will contribute to how we move forward with this process.

Validation: FAQ

What is the current tool you use to aid in recovery efforts for your patients?

This will help us specify direct competition to instruments that are already being recommended and used by doctors.

When choosing a tool, what do you look for?

This will help us identify what features and benefits surgical/non-surgical orthopedics and physical therapists look for when recommending and/or using tools.

Do you think that having a tracking system is better for your overall performance?

This question is meant for athletes and will help our team determine if this is something that will be beneficial to their overall goal of constant training.

What are issues with your current tools or coping mechanisms?

This will allow us to get insight into the pain points of our customers.

What do you like about your current solutions?

This will allow us to understand what others products are offering that attract and keep customers. This info will help us understand our competition from a consumer's perspective.

If there was a solution that sets the range of motion, is that something you would use?

This question would allow us to determine if this feature has demand in the market and whether it's a feature that needs to be included amongst the others.

Would integrating the software be beneficial to you?

This question will allow us to determine whether targeting post-surgical knee patients is a viable option, because their treatment is dependent on their doctor (our customer, not end user).
